Take a trip back in time…

This is a “Living History” time-line event reenacting Colonial America, Fur Trading and Pioneer Eras, and Civil War (approx. 1700-1865). Watch demonstrations by traders and craftsmen & women depicting the lifestyles of the times. Demonstrations change from year to year, but may include blacksmithing, woodworking, paddle making, candle making, spinning, weaving, and cast iron cooking over an open fire. Compete in contests for reenacts and the public.

Enjoy live period music by “Strings on the Prairie” and contra dancing. Talk with reenacts and ask questions. Many of them love to share their knowledge of history and stories from the past.

Camp opens at 10 am daily  & closes at 5pm. Sunday 10am-3pm.

Donation: $2 each or $10 a family
